Genre Memo

Here in class we assess, not the content, but the conventions and typical structure of research proposals. Below is what I found.

One may begin analyzing a genre by creating a survey, or conducting a sample group of the genre to obtain primary data. Also one can research the many popular arguments and concepts involved with the genre while relying on credibility and logic. It is also noted to look upon an author’s presentation and format. These keynotes are essential in building up an original analyzed document of a genre, instead of summarizing it. This avoids summarization because you must combine all of these elements are make it your own by implementing personal thoughts reflecting the information and presentations. This genre works for this ENC 1102 course because as writers and students, we must conduct samples of information that reflect our issue and we use research to gather what the current arguments are in the academic world.
